New Exhibition Opening at the Hang Gallery, Amsterdam: Zivit Sion

Tel Aviv, Israel (PRWEB) July 30, 2004

The Israeli artist, Zivit Sion, will open on Monday, August 1st, her new exhibitions in Hang Gallery, Amsterdam. The exhibitions called, In.2.e.t.v.2, will present Sion’s new intuitive paintings.

Sion, 38, is living and creating in Tel Aviv, Israel. She is identified with a new contemporary art concept, named intuitive painting. Her paintings represent abstract compositions with figurative references and are characterized by aesthetic emphasis, diversity, and multilayer materialism that create a colorful eye catching texture.

Intuitive Drawing is a unique art technique that allows personal and free expression without prior experience in painting. Drawing is done without prior planning and without rules, guidelines or limitations, and attention is focused on rhythm, emotions and gut feelings. The painting means are hands, brushes, spatula etc. The choice of colors is completely random, free dynamics of colors and senses.

The meaning of Intuitive Drawing is simply to draw. Moving the hand up and down the canvas in continuous flow, without censorship, criticism and conceptual pretence, in other words, ignoring the creative mind, and connecting to the experience itself and to the inner flow.
