Kuwait Hotels offer the finest experience imaginable

Kuwait lies proudly and nervously amidst some of the worlds most venerable and yet disputed territories. This intriguing land can best be summed up as a kind of city state.

The fast growing capital is Kuwait City. This strange mixture of super high tech and ancient buildings is home to the Bedouin people of the Arabian interior.

The city was a haven as much as it has been a plaything of warring religions and tribes for many of the past centuries.

It’s a proud city and it remains every bit an oasis in the middle of an otherwise brutal desert.

These days its more of an oasis of creed and culture however than an oasis of typography.

While Saddams stay was ultimately very short lived, yours need not be. and even Saddam could never have complained about the oppulence of the majestic hotels that dot the city skyline.

Excellent museums, extravagant restaurants; modern shopping complexes and marinas, and long and lazy retreats at new beach resorts can be the memories of your time in Kuwait City

Outside Kuwait City attractions are a bit thin on the ground however you’ll find resorts up and down the coast.

Things are moving again however and there are tourist developments such as the one on the historic Failaka island.

Of course much of the Territory is forsaken in favour of oil exploration rather than residential or tourist deveopment

There aren’t a lot of distinctive geographical features. One exception however is Mutla Ridge.

The Kuwaiti people are amazingly accomodating of not onl toursists but of there neighbours given all the hardships they have endured this century
